Chocolate Buttercream Icing
50g Chocolate
100g Butter
200g Icing Sugar
2.5 tbsp Cocoa Powder
1 tbsp Milk
Enough for middle and top of one 8" cake
1. Melt the chocolate gently in the microwave 20 secs at a time, stirring after each 20 secs. Leave it to the side to cool for 5 mins.
2. Mash the softened butter with the icing sugar, then switch to electric hand mixer.
3. Sift in cocoa powder and pour in the melted chocolate and milk, beating until smooth.
