What am I going to cook tonight?

Oat Crisps

Ingredients:

150g quick porridge oats
100g brown sugar
100g margarine

Makes 16 Oat Crunchies

1. Heat the oven to 190°, gas mark 5 and grease a shallow tin 11" x 7" (or line with baking parchment)

2. Put the oats and sugar in a bowl. Heat the margarine in a saucepan until it has melted, then pour onto the oats and sugar.

3. Mix thoroughly until blended. Press the mixture into the base of the team.

4. Bake in the oven for 15 - 20 minutes until pale, golden brown. Then remove from the oven and mark into 16 pieces. Leave to cool in the tin.
