Shortcrust Pastry for Quiche
This will make enough pastry for a 20cm (8" quiche)
110g plain flour
50g margarine
pinch of salt
about 2 tbsp cold water to mix
1. Rub the margarine into the flour and then mix in the salt
2. Mix the water into the flour mix cutting it with a round bladed knife until it forms a ball of dough
3. Wrap the pastry in a bag and let it rest it in the fridge for about 20 mins
4. Cook the quiche for 10 mins at 200°C/180°C fan/Gas Mark 5, then reduce the oven to 180°C/160° fan/Gas Mark 4, for the remaining 30-35 mins
