Mum's Oven 'Fries'

Ingredients:

450g potatoes
1 tablespoon oil
1 tablespoon water

Serves 4

1. Preheat the oven to 220°C, Gas Mark 7. Grease a large baking tray (or line with baking parchment) .

2. Chop (but don't bother to peel) the potatoes into whatever shape fries you want (e.g. chunky chips, wedges, cubes etc.).

3. Tip the chopped potatoes into a large mixing bowl, preferably with a lid (or bag).

4. Add the oil & water to the potatoes and mix to coat them. If you've got a bowl with a lid, or a plastic bag you can just shake them altogether.

5. Spread the coated potatoes on the baking sheet and roast in the oven for about 30 mins.
